When you’re a beginner colourer inner, nothing can be as important as to keep the colours on the right side of the line. So, children everywhere, (young and old), it’s important to keep your hand in and practice, at least until you’re old enough to use expensive software that will do the job for you. Illustration Friday – Acrobat

Romantic fiction set to a blossoming romance between two circus acrobats. Boy meets girl, boy drops girl, the end. Might need to develop the plot a little, but how hard can it be? Created entirely in Adobe Illustrator using some tools and techniques I didn’t know existed. What starburst filter?

Wrapped
The lesser kilted sausage, traditionally prime sausage wrapped in a kilt made of bacon(!), but in Scotland at least, proud to wear the national dress. Sadly in decline due to the imminent arrival of tea-time! Line art and vectors courtesy of Adobe Illustrator.

Better be a bit careful with my description here. However here are some of the required tools and products to further enhance the natural beauty of the female form, or in technical terms ‘chucking on some ‘slap’ before a night on the town’! Artwork scanned and then traced and “modified” in Illustrator. No animals were harmed in production of this illo!
- As an afterthought I’ve included initial black and white artwork to further embrace the topic and illustrate the modification process
